About Minecraft...

Minecraft is yet another sandbox game competing with games such as Terraria and Garrys Mod. There are no purposes in these games, and yet there is. Its up to the player to create the purpose of a sandbox game and not the game itself, the game is merely a tool to manifest your fantasies .
I have tried all three of these games, and i must say Minecraft clearly takes the lead, in my opinion Garrys Mod (by Garry Newman) is the advanced sandbox, while Terraria is a simplification of Minecraft (narrowed down to 2d graphics). In Minecraft you experience a completely differ atmosphere than in the others mentioned, the thought of an undead creeping behind you while you dig for minerals is very exiting, or the stress you attain when you have to get to your safe house before dark so you wont get raped by zombies, skeletons or the worse.
Very soon a new patch will come out for Minecraft called the Adventure Patch (1.8), and in this patch new creeps, dungeons, environments and loads of great stuff will appear, but the most interesting thing will be the "Enderman" creep, who reminds me an awfull lot about the "Slenderman" which i think will turn out quite scary.
